Juna Finds Her Voice
Juna came to the U.S. from Albania at age five, originally for medical care after surviving a life-threatening illness. What began as a short trip became a permanent home—and a place where she could thrive. Facing blindness, language barriers, and cultural differences, Juna grew up navigating a new world with resilience and humor. From learning Braille to performing at Carnegie Hall and publishing her first book, she’s built a life rooted in independence, opportunity, and pride in where she came from.
